The Stilson family, who used this area of land for faming and cattle, originally owned this area located on the west bank of the Snake River. Near the town of Wilson, WY, the Jackson Hole Ski Corporation purchased the ranch in 1997 and created this 28-lot subdivision. Many of the first real estate owners were employees of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Parcels range from 0.75 to 2.6 acres. Architectural styles include contemporary western to traditional.
The original landscape was irrigated for growing hay and today features maturing aspen and spruce trees. Some parcels border a large pond while others have seasonal flowing water. Prosperity Ditch, an original ranching irrigation system in Jackson Hole, flows near the entrance of Stilson Ranch. One of Stilson Ranches streets – Prosperity Lane – is named after for this early waterway. Stilson Ranch remains one of the most sought after neighborhoods in Jackson Hole.
Wilson Elementary School is within walking distance and the streets are private and quiet. The county bike path travels through Stilson Ranch. The shops at the town of Wilson and the charming Aspens Market are all convenient to Stilson Ranch. It takes only 10 minutes to get to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort or the town of Jackson.
